libcogl-common software package provides Object oriented GL/GLES Abstraction/Utility Layer (common files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcogl-common
libcogl-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcogl-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcogl-common *
You will get with libcogl-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
